Welcome Back to the Training Life!
If you read my previous post, regarding being injured for the Walt Disney World Marathon, you would know that I have been out of running for 5-6 weeks now. I am now back to 100% and have been cleared to run! YAY! So, now that I am cleared, training now begins for RunDisney's Star Wars Dark Side 10k! Today was my first run back and it was a slow 3 miles. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to make it the full 3 miles, but I pushed through a little bit of tiredness and made it. I have to say, todays run felt amazing! I am so glad to be back!

If you don't know, I am from Jacksonville, FL and one of my running groups favorite post run breakfast spots is Maple Street Biscuit Company. I haven't been to Maple Street in almost four years because the closest one to Atlanta was in Chattanooga...until now! Mom and I recently found out one had opened in Johns Creek, which is not too far from the home. We made a plan, with a friend of ours, to meet there for breakfast today after our run. I wasn't sure where exactly we were heading, but we ended up in Historic Johns Creek and it was just the cutest little area. The menu was a little different than what we were used to before, but the food was delicious! Good thing the are building one a little closer to the home!
