Adventures in North Georgia - Burt's Pumpkin Farm

As us residents of the south count down the days until it starts to feel like Fall, I decided it was time to start partaking in our favorite fall activities! After getting back from our trip, Mom and I decided we needed to head up to the pumpkin farm and get the pumpkins for the house. We are in this mentality of if we decorate for fall, fall will come! The Saturday, after we got back, we got in my car and drove the 20 miles to the pumpkin farm. We got there not too long after it opened and immediately grabbed a wheelbarrow and headed out to the pumpkins. The one thing I love about Burt's is they don't just carry orange pumpkins. They have orange, white, grey, pastel orange and ones with warts. On top of a ton of pumpkins, they also have different squashes you can use to cook with, jams, jellies and homemade items in the main barn. Burt's also offers hay rides, photo spots and on the weekends they have a concession stand and the BBQ they make in there smells delicious! This is a yearly tradition for us and we have learned our lesson about going during peak season! The closer to halloween you get, the more people and traffic you will have on those two lane back roads. If you are ever in North Georgia in the fall, definitely check out Burt's! If you are an adventurous person, Amicalola Falls is about 5 minutes away from Burts, so you can also go check out the tallest waterfall in Georgia! There are so many fun and adventurous things to do in North Georgia in the Fall! Come for a visit!

Look at all of the pumpkins!

Orange pumpkins in every shape and size!

Which one is the perfect one?

I love how the little one is sitting amongst the bigger ones!

My go to place to get gourds!
