New York City Hotel - InterContinental Times Square

If you haven't figured it out from my Instagram account, I recently got back from 5 days in New York City and I am counting down until I can go again! I fell in love with the city, the sites the food and the atmosphere of the city and it may be one of my favorite places! Now, I purposely planned this trip so I would be there in the midst of all things Christmas, so that just made everything even better!

Now...I know one of the most important parts of planning a trip, to any location, is finding the perfect hotel! I was honored to partner with IHG Hotels and stayed at the InterContinental New York - Times Square! If you are looking for a hotel that is centrally located to almost everything, this is the hotel you want to check out! Here's how centrally located we were:

  • Broadway Shows - We could see four theaters from the front view of our room, so if you are seeing Phantom of the Opera, Some Like it Hot, Into the Woods or A Beautiful Noise you are literally a stones throw away from the theater. We saw Moulin Rouge and our walk from the hotel to theater was 600ft! That definitely made the decision of wearing heels 10x easier!

  • Shopping - If you know me, you know I love to shop! The one thing I was really excited about was strolling down 5th Ave and maybe buying myself a lovely present to commemorate my trip. If you are like me, it is a short 4 block walk before you find yourself on 5th Ave.

  • Other NYC Sites - Not only is the InterContinental close to shopping and Broadway, but they are also just blocks from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall and the New York Public Library. Times Square is 2 blocks away, Rockefeller Center, The NY Public Library and Radio City Music Hall are all 4 blocks from the hotel. If there is someplace you had in mind, that isn't within walking distance, go see the bellman out front and they will get you all set up in a cab so you can go see everything this city has to offer.

Now that you know how close you are to everything, let's talk about the rooms themselves. We had a King Suite with a Manhattan View and let me tell you, there was nothing disappointing about the room or the Manhattan view. The room was spacious, we had a desk, couch (that folded out into a bed), king bed and a good sized bathroom. I know it's easy to talk about the amazingness of this room, but let me show you...

I did a full video tour of the room and you can see that here:

Now that you have seen the room, let's check out these views! Like I said above, we had a Manhattan view and it did not disappoint! Since the room was a rectangular shape, you had three sides of windows, one on each the left and right side and then quite a few windows right down the middle of the room.

If you are in the process of planning your trip to New York City, and you want to stay in the middle of it all, use the link below and book your stay at the InterContinental Times Square.
