Rule one of the #NSALE....don't go on your lunch break! UGH! I was only able to focus on some of the clothing items, which was good, because I was able to snag some of my must have items! I do feel like I should've grabbed more to try on, but that is okay because my plan is to go back!
I am going to share everything I tried on first and then I will be styling the items I purchased. My plan is to style them to wear now and then once we get into Fall! Well, let's get on with the show!
Green Madewell Top: This top was on my MUST HAVE list for the sale! My heart dropped yesterday when I checked my wish list and it was showing as sold out. Luckily my local store had my size in stock and I'm in love! I went with the large, I love the color and I'm actually pondering ordering of the other colors (nude/pink and black) tomorrow. The top is $44.90 during the sale!
Madewell Bobble Cardigan: This cardigan was one of the first items I added to my wish list, and I am so excited that I was able to grab it. I will tell you this cardigan runs really big. I tried on the large and it was huge on me. The one I am wearing in the picture is an extra small and the fit is perfect. This cardigan comes in 4 colors and is $58.90 during the sale.
Madewell Rib T Shirt Dress: I will be 100% honest here...this dress was no where on my radar. I quickly glanced at it during the preview, but it looked really short and I completely forgot about it. I grabbed it at the store and I completely underestimated this dress. I am wearing a large in this picture, but a medium was definitely a better fit. The dress comes in 4 color options and is $44.90.
Madewell Colorblock Cardigan: If you have followed me during prior sales, you know I am a sucker for cardigans. I bought the color block cardigan last year and I had to try this one on too. I'm wearing a large in the photo, but you could totally size down. This is the only color scheme it comes in and it is $58.90.
Free People Turtleneck Sweater: Did I walk into the store looking for a full on winter sweater, no! Did I put this one on and fall in love? Most definitely! This is a coveted sweater every year and now I know why. One thing to know about this sweater, it runs really big! I am wearing a medium and this thing was huge! It comes in 4 different colors and is $79.90.
BB Dakota x Steve Madden Hoodie Dress: This is another item that was not on my wish list, but it looked really cute! The material on this dress is so soft and I think it would look amazing with sneakers! The dress runs TTS, comes in 2 colors and is $54.90.
Madewell Balloon Sleeve Sweatshirt: Clearly I am loving green for fall, so all of this may be an insight as to what you will see me in soon! ha! this sweatshirt was another in store item that caught my eye. I love the color, the style and it is really lightweight. It is part of a set, comes in 3 different colors, is true to size and is $44.90.
BlankNYC Hooded Jackets: I don't need a jacket, I don't need a jacket, I don't need a jacket! Hey, have you seen this really cute jacket? I added this to my wishlist during the preview and let me tell you, it is even better in person. It looks like something you would get from Free People, for a fraction of the price. The jacket runs true to size, comes in two colors and is $69.90.
