Okay y'all...it is almost time for one of the biggest sales of the year! I don't know about you, but the Nordstrom Sale is probably my favorite sale of the year! If you followed me through this sale last year, you know that I will sharing a ton of information while this sale is going on. In this post, I want to share with you all of the important dates you need to know as we approach the beginning of this sale! Now, let's get into all the details!
Dates You Need to Know:
July 24 – You will be able to Preview everything online that will be part of the Anniversary Sale.
August 4-18 – Early Access for Icon Status Nordstrom Cardholders.
August 7-18 – Early Access for Ambassador Status Nordstrom Cardholders
August 10-18 – Early Access for Influencer Status Nordstrom Cardholders
August 13-18 – Insider Early Access – If you have a Nordstrom Card, you can shop during this time! This is the ideal time to shop. Tons of items sell out during this time frame and not everything restocks unless there is a return somewhere in the system. If you don’t already have a Nordstrom Credit Card, you can sign up here!
August 19-30 – Nordstrom Sale open to the public! Prices go back to full price on September 1st.
What is New for 2020?
We're giving everyone the ability to preview all sale items even earlier—starting July 24 (today!). This way, you have plenty of time to save your favorites to your Wish List so you can check out faster when it's time to shop. This preview experience will replace our print catalog this year.
Cardmembers with Icon, Ambassador or Influencer status will get even more time to shop Early Access. The higher your status, the earlier you shop. This is on top of the six days of Early Access all cardmembers get.
How to Get Access:
This is probably the biggest question....Make sure you have a Nordstrom Credit Card! With the Card, you will be able to shop for a week before access is open to the public! If you sign up for a card between now and August 18th, you will get a $60 Nordstrom Note to spend at the Anniversary Sale. Click here to sign up for the Nordstrom Credit Card.
My Top Tricks for Shopping the Sale:
Shop Early and Shop Fast! Go through the preview, tomorrow, when the links go live and make a list of the items you want! Some of the sale items will sell out quickly, so if it is a high ticketed item, link your card to your Nordstrom account, before the sale, and immediately purchase the item! I had to make a few single item purchases last year to make sure I could secure the items I really wanted! Just because you have something in your cart doesn't mean it is being held. Someone can come in behind you and grab it!
Pickup in Store! If you aren't sure about a size, see if your store has it in stock and opt for in store pickup. **Make sure you only do this on items that aren't a must have!** I did this with a few items last year, but the systems crashed at the beginning of the sale and the order did not get filled!
Shop Smart! This sale can get really overwhelming, so just make sure you go through the sale preview and make a list of the items that are your must haves! This will make the sale go more smoothly and then you can go back and shop the rest of the sale after you have grabbed your most wanted items!
