When I first planned the trip to Banff, I had the idea that I could wear cute fall outfits and not have to worry about being too cold. In the weeks leading up to the trip, the weather was showing me something different. We kept having chances of snow and the highs were hovering around 40 degrees. I quickly realized I needed to start packing more for warmth than cute fall outfits. I had been seeing these hometown sweatshirts from Aerie in the email and decided to head over to our nearest store to check them out. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there because they were thicker than most sweatshirts and I could be warm by putting a lightweight, long-sleeved shirt on underneath. I loved this color, because it is a color I don't have in my wardrobe and also because it would look really cute with jeans and boots when the weather gets cooler in GA. I wore this on our first full day in Banff, while we were playing sightseers in downtown. I did have my fleece on for part of the day, but thanks to the weight of the top, I didn't have to wear it all day. I sized down in the top as it does run large.
My jeans are from Abercrombie and I post them all the time! They are their low rise fit and I would size down due to the amount of stretch in them. There is a very special story behind my shoes, which will be shared at a later date, but did you know you could customize Nike shoes? They only cost $10-$20 higher than the normal price, but you are able to customize every aspect of the shoe. Mine are the Pegasus 35 and they are so comfortable. This is the same scarf that will be in all of my posts and is a few years old. I have found a similar scarf, with a decent price, and it is linked below.
I really liked my Moose friends outfit the best, but I know all of his clothing comes from the Cool As a Moose store in Downtown Banff! All items are linked below, you should definitely check out these tops! If you are ever in Banff, check out Cool As A Moose, all of my souvenirs came from there!
