Hello Day Two! After some fantastic sleep we woke up to falling snow and snow covered roofs! Today was our easy day, so we hung out in the hotel and then hit the streets of Downtown Banff! We started off with a small breakfast at Whitebark Cafe, which is a small coffee shop right next to the hotel. We then walked through most of the shops down Banff Ave. We stopped at the Banff Ave. Brewing Company for lunch and yo our surprise, they were playing every 1 p.m. NFL football game! We finished our walk of the town and headed back to the hotel so we could freshen up and head out for our evening lake cruise!

We pre-purchased an adventure pass and our first event was today. We had a 5 p.m. cruise on Lake Minnewanka! The cruise is about an hour long and they teach you all about the lake and surrounding forest. It was super cold on the boat, but luckily it is enclosed. We did open the windows to get some good shots, but we also went into the open air back of the boat to get some great pictures as well. After leaving our tour we stumbled upon a family of Elk who was feeding on the grass right by the road.
