Good Morning from the Canadian Rockies! I have been thinking how I should do these posts from each day I am gone and I decided I will do brief posts each day and will do series of full on travel posts when I get back. Yesterday was soooo long! I was up at 2 am so we could pick up our fourth person and drive to the airport. We flew Alaska Airlines, which is always great. Our first leg was Atlanta to Seattle and it was smooth sailing. I didn't sleep a lot on the flight, I just mostly watched movies. We arrived in Seattle and was greeted with a slight weather delay because of the fog in Calgary. We were finally able to get up in the air and landed safely in Calgary.
Once we landed in Calgary we cleared customs in record time, got our rental car, and drove the hour in a half into Downtown Banff. We checked into our hotel, which is amazing, and just hung out until it was time for our dinner reservation. We had dinner at the Grizzly House, which is a fondue house located in the middle of downtown. The dinner was about 3 hours long, mostly because we were having a little too much fun, and was also delicious.
By the time we got back to the hotel we were all exhausted and headed to bed to get ready for the next day! I will share some photos from our daily excursions each day and will save all of the. big items for the travel guides! I can't wait to share more with you!
