Global Running Day!

Happy Global Running Day to all of my runner friends out there!


Global Running Day is a worldwide celebration of running that encourages everyone to get moving. It doesn’t matter how fast you run or how far you go—what’s important is that you take part, and how you do it is up to you. Run a lap around your block, take your dog for a long walk, or call your friends for a pick-up game in the park. The important thing is that you have fun being active—and you inspire others to join you.

I can't believe I started training for my first half marathon 7 years ago! I have definitely had a love/hate relationship with running, but there has never been a time that I regretted going for a run. I was inspired to start running after I watched my Mom run her first marathon! I caught the running bug and immediately went back to Seattle and signed up for my first half! Running has brought me some of my best friends and I can't imagine life without them! Running has also helped me with my anxiety and dealing with my daily stresses!
