Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon Weekend - Hollywood Studios and Epcot!

Welcome to day three of Disney! We woke up early and headed over to Hollywood Studios to finish out our Star Wars Adventure. There weren't too many people in the park when we arrived, so we knew it was going to be a straight shot to Star Wars Launch Bay! We decided to skim the file, which I haven't ever seen, and headed straight for the characters. Our first stop was my favorite character, BB-8, he had the longest line but that didn't bother me at all. Our next stop was Kylo Ren, which always makes me super nervous because the dude is downright creepy! I was thankful the cast member took a video of our initial interaction because this now tells a story about how creepy he really is. Our last stop in Launch Bay was to visit Chewbacca! I always make him my last stop because there is nothing better than a hug from Chewie!

Before heading over to Epcot, fo the International Flower and Garden Festival, we decided we would make two more stops at Hollywood Studios. Our first stop was to get some warm hugs from none other than Olaf! I have never done this character interaction before, but I have to say this is probably the shortest amount of time I have ever spent with a character. It was a very quick come in, give a hug, take the photo and off you go! Our last stop was Starbucks, why you ask? Because everyone needs coffee! Plus, I was still recovering from the early morning wake up call the day before!

After our coffee, we decided we would walk over to Epcot instead of taking a bus. The walk from Hollywood Studios is a lovely walk. You walk along the water and the Boardwalk until you come to the side gate for Epcot. The side entrance will bring you in right next to France, so the view is never bad. It wasn't too long before we found ourselves a food booth and beautiful floral arrangements for the Garden Festival! There was so much that happened at Epcot, check the photos out for all of the fun!

"Once I read a story about a butterfly in the subway, and today, I saw one.

It got on at 42nd, and off at 59th, where, I assume it was going to Bloomingdales

to buy a hat that will turn out to be a mistake - as almost all hats are.”

-Kathleen Kelly (You've Got Mail)

If you are ever at Disney in the Spring, the Flower and Garden Festival is a great time. It is not as crowded as Magic Kingdom and the food booths make it more fun! If I had to pick between Flower and Garden and Food and Wine, my choice would definitely be Food and Wine, the food is better! But in a perfect world, you should check out both!
