Good Morning from day three! I am feeling good today because I got some sleep and it is the first day I have coffee! I don't know how I have gone two days without it, especially since there is a Starbucks in every park, but I finally have it! We headed over to Animal Kingdom really early since they had the extra magical hours this morning and I was able to get FastPasses for Pandora: The World of Avatar. After our quick stop at Starbucks, we headed over to Kilimanjaro Safari since this is something I have never done and I've heard it is best to do it in the morning. We didn't see all of the animals, especially since it was cold, but we were able to see a good amount of animals.
The Tree of Life
My first coffee in a few days!
The start of the safari
The main point of this trip was to check out the newest area, Pandora: The World of Avatar. I was able to get FastPasses for Na'vi River Journey, so this gave us the perfect opportunity to go in and check everything out. I have only seen the movie Avatar once, but this new world was amazing and unlike anything I have ever seen before. The photos don't even do this new land justice, it is definitely a must see, but make sure you have FastPasses because the stand by lines are well over two hours.
Inside of the river journey
You could see the moon through the trees
We found a Mountain Banshee
After we walked through Pandora, we headed back out and walked around the rest of the park. As we were coming back up on the Tree of Life I noticed there was some movement we didn't see earlier in the day. I took a walk up to the tree and noticed there were kangaroos that had come out for some sun and food!
After this we headed back to the hotel so we could do a final pack and check out of the room. Mom and I headed back over to the Wide World of Sports to meet up with our friends at the expo. We met up with Lauren and Kevin and it was very exciting because this is the first Disney race for Kevin!
Kevin may not be fond of Mickey!
