I know we have entered into the Fall season, but for some us, like the south, we are just starting our transition into our favorite season! (Or at least my favorite season!) I have been trying to find some really cute work wear pieces for me to wear now and transition into full fall and winter! I headed over to my local Ann Taylor and Loft stores and were blown away with the amazing pieces they currently have. The fall colors are patterns were enough to make my fall heart blo
If you know me, you know I love a good-button up shirt! I was raised very preppy and a great button-up has always been a staple in my closet. I met Grayson at The Blog Societies Conference, a few weeks ago, where they were one of the conference sponsors. We were all gifted one of their shirts and I didn't know it at the time, but I was about to find my new favorite button-up. Not only does Grayson make a great shirt, but they are all together an amazing company. Here are some
Dress | Cardigan | Boots | Necklace Can you believe we are one week away from Christmas?! I'm not sure where this holiday season has gone, but I still have things I need to check off of my Holiday Bucket List! The good thing is I still have one weekend left and some really fun plans to share with you! Before we get to the outfit, how cute is this Santa house? He wasn't there when I tried to visit, but I did knock on the door to see if anyone would answer! I shared this dress
Hey Guys, Happy Thursday! I am so excited we are almost to the end of the week because I have some fun things going on this weekend and I am hoping the weather wants to act nice! The last two weekends have been wash outs, which doesn't make it easy to shoot content or cross things off of my Holiday Bucket List! We all know how much I love plaid, so when Abercrombie put their plaid shirts on sale for $25 and then provided a code for an additional percentage off, you knew I was
Happy Wednesday Everyone! I was awoken today to a small earthquake and I never want to feel that again. This is the second time in my life feeling this (the first is when I lived in Seattle) and it really is the weirdest feeling. I had a friend stop by last week and informed me I needed to stop with all of the plaid, I kinda giggled and told her the plaid was just beginning on the blog! So, now I am going to see how much plaid I can put on the blog between now and Christmas!
Happy Monday Friends! I am on the struggle bus today and was wishing I had one more day left of the weekend! I have been working on checking things off of my Holiday Bucket List, and I couldn't wait to share this one with you! One of the top things I posted on the bucket list was to find the comfiest Christmas pajamas....and this was probably the most fun research I have ever done! I tried on a bunch of different pajamas, but in the end I was able to pick two different sets!
Now that the chaos of the shopping weekend trifecta is over, I have started thinking back to the amazing moments I had while I was in Jacksonville. I know I shared a little about Thanksgiving Day and a lot about shopping, but my favorite part of the weekend was spending time with some of my favorite people. On top of spending time with friends and family, we had our newest little (well not so little) member of the family baptized. This baptism was very special for me because
I am sorry for the excessive amount of plaid I am going to be sharing on this blog! I found this top last weekend at Loft and I decided I would try it on because it was something my Mom was really interested in purchasing. I should've known this was never going to work because I am obsessed with plaid. This is a great top because the black part is a lightweight sweatshirt and the plaid peplum is sewn into the bottom. It is meant to be oversized, so I would definitely stick wi
We are on day two of rain here in Georgia and I am over it. Sadly, we still have two days left and I am not feeling it. The only good part is the cold weather because I get to wear all of my warm gear! Today I want to talk about puffer vests. I have five or six of them and I love them. Some people have told me I have too many, but I don't believe there is such a thing. I pulled this one out of my closet today and it was the perfect choice for this cold, rainy day! I then noti
I think I have overshared Chenille, so let's talk about plaid and velvet! I've been looking at this amazing velvet jacket over the past few weeks and finally decided to go to the J. Crew Factory Store to check it out. I got a little worried when I couldn't find the jacket, but when I asked a sales person she showed me it was hanging on a random rack behind some men's pants. I tried on the jacket and absolutely fell in love! I had another salesperson price the jacket for me, s
